Chardonnay blend with a touch of oak and Sauvignon
We are excited to announce a new collaboration with Nicholas Pouillis. Nicholas is a well known local artist who produces beautiful watercolour paintings of the local towns and surrounding landscape including Saint Hilaire.
Together with Nicholas we have created a new wine blend (our first for 3 years) which is a lightly oaked Chardonnay with a slight touch of Sauvignon Blanc. This crisp and fruity combination is really versatile and works really well both as an aperitif and with a wide range of lighter dishes.
The wine is called “Le Peintre de Pézenas” (the painter of Pézenas) and bases its label on one of Nicholas’ paintings of the famous staircase in the Lacoste Mansion in Pézenas.
Easy drinking, smooth and refreshing with a little more fruitiness than your typical Chardonnay. Enjoy it on its own or alongside white meats, salads and cheeses.
